Things I want to take home with me from Laos
1. The kitten at this coffee shop
2. A puppy. Any puppy.
3. A child. Preferably the one I sat next to on the bus today who was both scared of and mesmerized by the white person sitting next to him. It took him an hour to work up the courage to wave.
4. All the coffee my bag can fit.
5. A grandmother. Ideally she will be missing teeth, have a big friendly smile, and dress in incredible hand-woven textiles. And be able to cook awesome Lao food.
